Phyllis M. (Liebsch) McNally, age 87, of Dakota, MN, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at the La Crescent Health Services in La Crescent, MN.
Phyllis was born on December 18, 1932, in La Crosse, WI, to Seymour and Magdalena (Leyendecker) Redig, and was a graduate of Aquinas High School in La Crosse. Phyllis was united in marriage with Leo Liebsch on August 8, 1953, and he preceded her in death on December 18, 1982. She later married Robert R. McNally on July 20, 1985, and he preceded her in death on October 21, 2003.
She farmed with Leo for several years and was also employed with the La Crosse Garment Company, and Express-a-Button.
Phyllis will be remembered for her love of reading a good book, doing counted cross-stitch projects, and she especially enjoyed making quilts for her family and loved ones.
Phyllis is survived by her son: David (Cindy) Liebsch, Nodine, MN; daughter: Ruth (Bill) Inglett, La Crosse, WI; daughter-in-law: Mary Liebsch, La Crescent, MN; brothers: Keith (Betty) Redig, Winona; and James (Margaret) Redig, Hartford, WI; sister-in-law: Florence Redig, Waterloo, IA; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 7 step-great-grandchildren; step-children: Allyn (Elaine) McNally, Winona, MN; and Kristie (Dean) Neumann, Dakota, MN; 6 step-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Leo and Robert; son: Robert Liebsch; daughter: Linda Pruka; son-in-law: David Pruka; and a brother: Roger Redig.
A private family service will be held, with Deacon Justin Green officiating. Phyllis will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Dakota, MN.
Pallbearers will be: Adam Liebsch, Kyle Pruka, Aaron Pruka, Zack Liebsch, Alex Liebsch, and Amy Shimshak.
