Patricia Petschow

Patricia H. Petschow, age 65, of Winona, passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday, January 8, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on April 26, 1955, in Winona, to Alois and Delores (Koeth) Schneider.  Pat was united in marriage with Gary W. Petschow on March 16, 1972, in Waukon, IA, and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2019.

Pat was employed as a custodian at Winona State for many years prior to her retirement.

She will be remembered for her love of gardening, her flowers, baking, and going to garage sales and COSTCO.  She also enjoyed a good cup of coffee and cheering for the Packers with Gary.  Pat’s greatest joys in life were her family, trips to Hawaii, and she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Pat is lovingly survived by her children: Jessica (Mike) and their children: Alexis (Katie), Steven, and Cassandra (Dustin) and their children: Sommer and Noah; son: Allen (Andrea) and their children: Bradley, Austin, Kendall, and Domanic, including Bradley’s mother, Tracy Petschow; dear friend, Timmy Pellowski; her beloved dogs, Bear and Daisy; siblings: Ann (Bryan) Dulas; Thomas (Colleen) Schneider; Linda (Chris) Corcoran; Daniel Schneider; and John (Andrea) Schneider; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friends: Dody Huwald, Audrey Sommers, and Jan Freeman.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Joe; and her dogs, Suzie and Joey.

Visitation will be held from 4 PM until a closing prayer service at 7 PM on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.  Those attending will be required to wear a mask and to follow social distancing guidelines.

A family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.  Pat will be laid to rest in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
