Mitchell Hale, Jr.

Mitchell N. Hale, Jr., age 32, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at his home unexpectedly, due to congestive heart failure.  He was born on April 16, 1988, in Winona, to Mitchell and Lisa (Stephans) Hale, Sr.

Mitch lived in Winona all his life working for local companies, most recently at WinCraft.

He was an avid fan of the Vikings, Twins, and Gophers.  He also enjoyed gaming with his brother, Chris, for hours and hours, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mitch was well-liked by many and will be missed by all, especially his infectious and smirky smile.

Mitch is survived by his mother, Lisa Griffin (Doug Olson); father, Mitchell (Jan) Hale, Sr.; brothers: Jeff (Samantha Schwarz) Welch; Chris Hale; Shawn Stutzka; and Josh (Jenna) Stremcha; sisters: Harley and Chelsey Griffin; Victoria Hale; and Hope Stremcha; grandmother: Nancy Heyer; grandfather: Nathan Hale, Sr.  He is further survived by a nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous other family members.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Elinor Tietz; maternal grandfather: Don Stephans; and sister: Jessica Griffin.

Private cremation is being held, and a celebration of Mitch’s life is being planned for his family and friends.
