Joan Gleason

Joan M. Gleason, age 88, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Benedictine – St. Anne.

She was born on June 11, 1933, in Winona, to Albert and Agnes (Kobus) Wild, and was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Winona.

Joan married Robert W. Gleason on October 6, 1956, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, and was a long-time member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

Joan is lovingly survived by her husband, Robert, Winona; children: Scott (Amy), Durham, NC, and David (Tammy Voelker), Goodview, MN; a grandson: Aaron, Chicago, IL; as well as other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Phyllis Wild.

Honoring her wishes, funeral services will be held privately for her family.  Joan will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Winona.

Memorials may be directed to the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.
