Gerald Rolbiecki

Gerald Rolbiecki, son of the late John and Verna (Neumann) Rolbiecki, and the brother of Rich Rolbiecki and the late Roger Rolbiecki, was born October 17, 1941, in Winona, Minnesota and passed away peacefully on August 22, 2021, surrounded by his family.

He was united in holy matrimony to his loving wife, Kathleen (Burbach) Rolbiecki, on June 29, 1963.  This 59-year union blessed them with two children.

To follow his wishes, we note only the following:  Gerry lived a simple life, never climbed a mountain, but always tried to be a good man, and died happy.

His life will be forever cherished in the lives of his wife, Kathleen (Burbach) Rolbiecki, his children: Joye (Rolbiecki) Eichten and Jodi (Rolbiecki) Jones; his sons-in-law: Doug Eichten and Rick Jones; his grandchildren: Alex Eichten, Benjamin Eichten, Nell Eichten, and Cameron Hunter; his brother: Rich Rolbiecki; sisters-in-law: Patty Steinhoff, Loretta Burbach and Mary Rolbiecki; his brothers-in-law: Patrick Burbach and Bill Steinhoff,  and an unending list of friends he has gained throughout his life.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the funeral service at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia St., Winona.  Deacon Justin Green will officiate.  Gerald will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery, where the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9 of Winona will provide military honors.
