Whitney Nichole Sherman

Whitney Nichole Sherman, age 39, of Winona, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at her home.

She was born on May 7, 1986, in Winona, to Kenneth and Heather (Foss) Sherman. Whitney grew up in Las Vegas, NV, and after graduating high school there, her family relocated to Winona.

She was currently employed with Benchmark Electronics, and will be remembered for always being organized and for her spunky and outgoing personality.

Whitney is lovingly survived by her mother, Heather; her beloved dog, Baby; special boyfriend, Brian Wehlage; uncles: Heath Foss and Larry (Sophie) Foss; aunt: Heidi Giese; cousins: Madison Giese, Harper Giese, Jillian Foss, Serena Foss, and Cherokee Foss; as well as the numerous members of her extended Sherman family, including aunts and uncles: Ben, Faith, Joyce, Linda, Les, Den, Doug, Mike, and Van.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth, and her grandparents.

A celebration of Whitney’s life will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 4 PM until 6 PM, where a service of remembrance will be held at 5:30 PM.

Heather would like to extend her deepest appreciation to all those who have given her their love and support during this difficult time, and how much their friendship means to her.
