Wesley Evenson

Wesley R. Evenson, age 83, of Winona, formerly of Witoka, MN, passed away on Wednesday April 1, 2020, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona.

He was born September 12, 1936, in Rushford, MN, the son of Oscar and Bernice (Lukkason) Evenson, and married Deloris Horman on December 11, 1965, in Ridgeway, MN.

Wesley worked many years as an auto-mechanic at Dahl’s Auto Works in Rushford until his retirement.

Wesley is survived by his wife Deloris; his children: Kevin, Scott (Alida), and Lisa; grandchild, Ethan; and many relatives and friends.

The family wishes to thank Callista Court and St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona, Gundersen Health, and to Winona Health Hospice, for the special care they gave to Wesley.

A private family service will be held.  Wesley will be laid to rest at the Witoka Cemetery. A celebration of his life is being planned for a later date at the Witoka Ballroom.
