Thomas Mcdonald

Thomas J. McDonald, age 65, of Stockton, MN, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital – St. Mary’s Campus in Rochester, MN.

He was born on December 9, 1952, in Winona, to John and Marie (Zywicki) McDonald.  Tom was a graduate of Cotter High School, and also completed training at the vocational schools in Winona and La Crosse.

Tom was employed for many years as a pressman for Herff-Jones in Lewiston, MN.  He will be remembered for his love of camping, fishing, and for his enjoyment of watching outdoor shows and movies on TV.

Tom is survived by his son, Mike McDonald; sister: Terri Nye; nephews: Aaron and Nathaniel; great-nephew: Harrison; good friends: Ron and Ruth Doblar, and Larry and Margie Pflughoeft; as well as cousins, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018, at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winona - please meet at the cemetery office.  A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at Bub's Brewing Company, 65 East Fourth Street, Winona, from 5 PM until 7 PM.
