Terry L. Hartman, age 70, of Winona, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 29, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family.
Terry was born on February 2, 1951, in Waseca, MN, to Frederick and Violet (Thurston) Hartman. He was a graduate of the Waseca High School and attended Mankato State University. Terry married Pamela Hawker, together they enjoyed 48 years of marriage and raised 3 children.
He was employed for many years with Brock/Brach Candy Company prior to his retirement. Terry was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and The Minnwissippi Fishing Club.
Terry will be remembered as an excellent cook and for his love of the outdoors where he enjoyed golfing, camping, hunting and fishing, mostly Walleye. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins and had a love/hate relationship for the Minnesota Vikings. Terry was a jack-of-all trades, a handyman who could fix anything, he loved music and his vinyl album collection. He was most proud of his restoration of a ’76 Jeep CJ7 and a ’84 Chevy pickup.
His family was very important to him, and he will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Terry is lovingly survived by his wife, Pam; his children: April (Brent), Andrew (Jenna) and Mary “MB”; grandchildren: Alanah, Braylen, Kace, Drake, Teagan, Austin and Jackson; brother: Tom (Roxy); step-father: Richard; as well as many special nieces, nephews and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary.
Honoring his wishes, funeral services will be held privately for his family.
