TERRY L. CHADWICK
Terry L. Chadwick age 67, of Winona, MN passed away on Sunday, November 12th, 2017, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital - St. Mary's Campus in Rochester, MN with his family by his side.
Terry was born June 8, 1950, in Wabasha, MN, to Arthur and Isabel (Goulette) Chadwick. He grew up in Wabasha and graduated from the Wabasha-Kellogg High School in 1968. On October 9, 1976, he married the love of his life Kristi K. Roppe in Homer, MN. They made Winona their home and had 2 wonderful children. He was employed at Peerless Chain Company many years before retiring.
It’s no secret that Terry was an amazing man that loved everyone. He was a very giving, strong, big-hearted man. His quiet yet strong presence made everyone feel loved and important. He never passed up a chance to show love and respect. Terry loved to spend his time outdoors, perfecting his yard, walking the Lake, reading books, putting together puzzles with his granddaughter, telling stories about his life adventures in Wabasha and riding his bicycle. Terry was a sports fanatic. He was a very die hard Minnesota Viking's fan and was also an avid fan of the Minnesota Twins. He loved golf and was previously a member of Westfield golf club. Most of all, Terry loved spending time with his family. He will be forever remembered for his warm heart and contagious laugh. He will be missed and remembered forever.
Terry is survived by son, Chad Chadwick, and daughter, Jessica (Ryan) Loesel; one very special granddaughter, Andreya Sauers; three sisters: Florence Polyard, Albuquerque, NM; Joyce Heaser, Plainview, MN; and Rosalie (Tony) Roozen, Bremerton, WA.
Terry was preceded in death by his wife, Kristi K. Chadwick; parents, Arthur and Isabel Chadwick three brothers: baby Thomas, Arthur Chadwick, Jr., and Irvin Chadwick; two sisters: Betty Mattes and Gladys Krusmark; and a very special aunt and uncle, who raised him when his mom passed away one month after he was born, Florence & Julius Ausgaard.
Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM on Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.
A private family burial will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rushford, MN.
