Steven W. "Steve" Severson

Steve Severson, 68, of Lake City, MN, passed away on July 14, 2026, after battling with metastatic lung cancer.

He was born on March 6, 1958, to Walter and Arlie (Hill) Severson.

Steve was proud of the work he did for the Red Wing Shoe Company, where he worked as a leather cutter for 35 years.

His greatest pride and joy were his four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Steve is survived by his children: Josh (Amber), Nicki (Shawn) Bagniewski, Lucas (Mariah), and Allie (Alex); his grandchildren: Erica, Alyssah, Paige, Teighya, Bella, Issiah, Orianna, and Morgan; his great-grandchildren: Oliver and Delilah; his siblings: Mary Ann, Kathy, and Tim; as well as many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the tragic loss of his grandson, Dylan.

A celebration of Steve’s life is being planned for a later date.
