Shawn J. Morreale

Shawn J. Morreale, age 72, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his home.

He was born on December 25, 1952, in Chicago, IL, to Joseph and Bridgette (Diemer) Morreale, and graduated from St. Mary’s College in Winona.

Shawn was employed for many years as an instructor with the Chicago Park District and also had his own independent house painting business.

He was a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

Shawn was a huge fan of the Cubs and Bears, and as a great friend to many, he enjoyed giving his homemade spaghetti sauce to his many friends around town. He will be deeply missed.

Shawn is survived by his sisters-in-law: Christine Morreale and Sandra Morreale; niece, Alexa, and nephew, Michael; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Robert, Joseph, and Michael.

Honoring his wishes, funeral services will be held privately for his family.
