Sharon Ruth Pagel, age 83, passed away Sunday afternoon at Whitewater Health Services in St. Charles, MN.
Sharon was born in Winona on January 6, 1941, to her parents, Faye and Stella Phillips. She married Richard Pagel in 1958; together they had three children, Steve (Andrea), Rhonda (Steve) Scharmer and Tony (Mary). They later divorced.
Sharon is survived by her sisters: Donna Battcher and Jean Anderson; grandchildren: Crystal, Cheyanne (Travis), Shane and Ashley (Trevor); great-grandchildren: Aaron, Miranda, King, Hunter, Ellie and Troy; and great-great-grandchildren: Nathan and Zayla.
Sharon worked at Warehouse Market and Kwik Trip for 25 years before retiring, where she made many special friends. She loved to thrift shop and go to garage sales. She collected vintage dolls, loved listening to Elvis and country music, and had a great skill for coloring. Sharon was also a grandma spoiler.
Her words of wisdom were: “Say you’re sorry.” She will be deeply missed.
Sharon is welcomed in heaven to join her parents, Faye and Stella; and her siblings: Stanley, Jim, Rich and Shirley Czaplewski.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 3 PM until 5 PM, on Friday, April 12, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home at 376 E. Sarnia Street, Winona.
