Sharon Mueller

Sharon Lynn Mueller, age 69, of Winona, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2020, at her home.

Sharon was born on July 25, 1950, in Winona, to Hilmar and Lorraine (Nelson) Lowenhagen.  Sharon received her degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University, graduating in 1972.  She was united in marriage with Robert L. Mueller on June 24, 1972, at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Winona.

Sharon was a member of St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and found great joy and fulfillment working in the pre-school for over 17 years.

She will be remembered for her laughter and always having the biggest smile.  She found so much joy in life, even in the smallest things.  She also loved to travel, but most of all, she cherished the time that she spent with her family.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Sharon was a loving wife for over 47 years to Bob; the proud mother of John (Jenny) Mueller, and Amy Mueller; and the light of her life was her granddaughter, Ella.  She is also survived by her mother-in-law: Vera Mueller, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her father-in-law: Von Mueller.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM on Monday, January 13, 2020, at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 766 West Wabasha St., Winona.  The Reverend Matthew Schoell will officiate.  Sharon will be laid to rest in Hillside Cemetery, Minneiska.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Mueller, Tom, Christian, and Caleb Rossin, and Brent Fingerson.

A memorial is being arranged.
