Ruth Mcmanus

Ruth Ann McManus, age 83, of Winona, MN, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family.

Ruth was born on May 11, 1938. She is preceded in death by her father and mother, Clark and Anna Miner, her step-mother Addie Miner, her sister Elaine, and brother, Tom.

Ruth was born in Spring Grove, MN. She grew up and lived most of her life in Winona. She is survived by her children: Tim (Sally Dargis), Kim Isenberg (Lonny), Kelly Broughton (Phil), Colleen Bushman (Pat) and Kasey McManus-Smith (Eric); grandchildren: Alison, Thomas, Erin, Katy, Bethany, Caleb, Moriah, Eden, Rachel, Ryan, Eliana, Nola and Zander; and great- grandchildren: Adah, Spencer, Roan and Rozlyn.

Ruth was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, daughter and sister. She loved and was loved by many dear friends. She will be remembered for her championship bowling, her love of golf, her knack for always winning at the casino and her love of professional sports with a fierce passion for the Minnesota Vikings.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia , Winona, MN. Visitation will be from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, words of remembrance at 1:00 pm, followed by a private family interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please join the family wearing purple and gold and Vikings gear in celebration of Ruth’s life at the East Side Bar, 851 East Wabasha Street, Winona, MN following the services.

Ruthie’s children send their deepest gratitude to all the amazing care-givers at St. Anne’s for the love and care they have given to our mother.
