Rose Adamczyk

Rose Ann Adamczyk, age 76, of Winona, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019.

She was born on July 8, 1943, in Winona, to Arthur and Helen (Berzinski) Koeth. Rosie was united in marriage with Frank Adamczyk on June 12, 1965, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona, and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1998.

Rosie was employed with Winona Glove, the food service at W-K School, Burger King, Kwik Trip, and was an AVON sales representative for many years. She was a member of the Elks, Harvest House, and the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka. She was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings, and was active as a leader with TOPS, the American Cancer Society, the Winona High School Class of 1961 Reunion Committee, and she was a Brownie/Girl Scout leader for her girls.

Anyone who has visited our mom's home knows all about the passion she had for her family. Our mom taught us to be strong and to know we are never alone. We had a connection by the strongest bond there is ... the love between a mother and her daughters.

Rosie found great pleasure in reading, being outdoors, gardening, bowling, turning trash into treasures, and numerous trips to the casino. Rosie was quick witted and one never knew what she would be up to next.

Weekends spent at Money Creek relaxing and enjoying the company of her family and friends while sipping a nice glass of E & J with water and one ice cube. Most of all, her greatest joy in life was her family, and her "angel daughters." She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

Rosie is lovingly survived by her daughters: Theresa (Curtis) Kuehn, Jennifer Adamczyk, and Angie Adamczyk; grandchildren: Amelia Stampka, Brianna Kohner, Taylor Kohner, Aaren (Jacob) Lynch, Connor Renk, and Evan Renk; great-grandchildren: Brayden Stampka, Audrienna Stampka, and Abel Forcier; sisters: Beverly Walker, Arlene (John) Walker, and Susanne Blanchette; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; parents; and sisters: Delores Schneider, Cynthia Iverson, and Kathy Kleinschmidt.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM until a Christian Wake Service at 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Friday, October 25, 2019, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka. The Very Reverend Patrick Arens will officiate. Rosie will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery, next to our dad, Frank, in a private ceremony for her immediate family. A luncheon and reception will be held following the Mass at the Winona VFW Club, 208 East Third Street.
