ROGER CHARLES REPINSKI

Roger Charles Repinski, age 69, of Winona, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2016, at the Gundersen Health System Hospital in La Crosse, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on August 12, 1947, in Winona, to Cyril and Marion (Wood) Repinski, Sr.  Roger honorably served his country with the United States Army, completing multiple tours in Vietnam.  He was a self-employed flooring installer for most of his life.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Gail; sons: Jason Repinski, and Aaron (Michelle) Repinski; step-daughter, Carey Bell; brothers: Butch Repinski, and Jerry (Theresa) Repinski; sister: Bonnie Giemza; seven grandchildren: Brittany, Dom, Christian, Austin, River, Savannah, and Sydney; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Friday, October 7, 2016, from 4 PM until 7 PM, where Monsignor Thomas J. Hargesheimer will lead a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM.  Following the service, a celebration of Roger’s life will continue with a reception at the VFW Club, 208 East Third Street in Winona, from 7 PM until 9 PM.

Roger will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at the Southeastern Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Preston, MN, at a later date.
