Robert C. Haskett, age 79, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, following a battle with cancer.

He was born on September 12, 1945, in Winona, to Cecil and Irene (Peters) Haskett, and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School. 

Bob was employed for many years with Lake Center in Winona, serving as the union president, and later with Water Systems of Winona until his retirement.

He will be remembered for his love of collecting Red Wing Pottery, gardening, canning, going to estate and garage sales, playing pull tabs, and for sitting in his drive way in front of a bonfire listening to the Grateful Dead. His greatest joy in life was his family, and he especially cherished the time that he spent with his children and grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his children: Rhonda (Mike) Anderson, Aimee (Charlie) Zebell, Tyler (Kelsey) Remus, and Jodi (Nick) Kleitsch; grandchildren: Gabrielle Anderson, Christian (Melissa) Anderson, Caroline (Eli) Provost, Elizabeth Anderson, Fletcher Zebell, Samantha Zebell, Noah Remus, Rylie Remus, AnnaSofia Belter, and Luca-Ren Kleitsch; his former wife, Shirley Haskett; his long-time significant other, Judy Malotka; siblings: Donna Evjen, Myrna Steinhoff, Lolly (Evelynn) Goetzman, Thomas Haskett, William “Wayne” Haskett, Daniel Haskett, and Jon Haskett. Bob is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who considered him their favorite uncle, as well as other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Haskett.

A gathering will be held from 4 PM until a time of remembrance and sharing at 6 PM on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona. A reception and celebration of Bob’s life will follow at the Red Men’s Club, 176 W. 3rd St., Winona.
