Raymond A. Hornberg

Raymond A. Hornberg, 73, of Nodine, MN, died Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN.

He was born on August 4, 1953, in Winona, MN, to Robert and Ragnhild (Sorbo) Hornberg. Raymond married Letty Peláez on July 24, 1976, at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Nodine. They lived in Winona and then moved to Nodine in 1977 where they raised their family.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Letty; two sons, Brian (Theresa) Hornberg and their children: Graysen, Alaura, Rayden, and Thorin of Stewartville, MN; and Scott (Hayley) Hornberg and their children: Cecilia, Gus, and Dexter of Winona, and his 10 siblings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Randy, and an infant brother.

Visitation will be held at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Nodine, MN, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Pastor Ethan Boese will officiate. Burial will be at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church Cemetery, Wilson, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Nodine, or Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Wilson.
