Ralph R. Perry

Ralph Ronald Perry, 89, of Winona, passed away on May 12, 2025.

He was born on January 19, 1936, to Ronald and Adeline (Harkness) Perry. He was married in 1960 to Linda Batchelor and had two daughters, Beth Perry and Vicki (Mat) DePaul-Meister. He was married to Marjorie (Rose/Ramin) from 1983 until Marji’s passing on January 23, 2020. He moved to Sugar Loaf Assisted Living in 2021 and found love again with Frances Bockenhauer whom he married on December 12, 2021.

He is survived by his beloved wife, daughters and siblings, Ellen (Phil) Micheli and Allen (Nancy) Perry as well as three grandchildren, Marina, Anne and Thomas and one great granddaughter, Violet. He was preceded in death by granddaughter Sierra DePaul, his brother, Fred, and Suzanne who graciously donated her heart to him in 2001. He is also survived by five stepsons, three stepdaughters and many step grandchildren.

Ralph honorably served in the Coast Guard for 4 years and is a member of the American Legion Post #9.

Being a heart transplant recipient, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in his name.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM.  Following the service, Ralph and Marji’s urns will be placed in the columbarium at Woodlawn Cemetery. Following the burial, a luncheon will be served at the funeral home.
