Patricia Meska

Patricia A. Meska, age 77, passed away peacefully her at home on Saturday, July 13, 2019.

She was born June 30, 1942 in Winona, MN to Edward and Magdalen Paszkiewicz.

A lifelong resident of Winona, she was a passionate gardener, bird watcher, and avid reader. She was well known for her vibrant personality and quick sense of humor.

With a keen eye and a strong spirit, Patricia met Ralph Meska by happenstance in 1958. After a brief courtship, they were wed in June of 1959. Together, they spent 35 years dedicated to each other and their beloved daughter Dawn.

Some of her family’s fondest memories together are of leisurely Sunday drives through old gravel roads, taking in the nature and tallying up how many eagles and deer they could spy. Holidays and family gatherings were filled with stories that would, without fail, end in roaring laughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Magdalen, husband Ralph, and son Mark.  She is survived by her brother Robert Paszkiewicz, daughter Dawn (Keith) Loth, and grand-daughter Sara Meska-Flatten (Seth).

According to her wishes, funeral services are being held privately, with burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
