Michael Rozek

Michael A. Rozek, age 71, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at his home.

He was born on April 17, 1948, in Winona, to Andrew and Cecelia (Ludwig) Rozek.  Mike honorably served his country with the United States Navy from 1969-1973, and was employed for 35 years with Herff-Jones(Camera Art) in Lewiston until his retirement in 2009.

Mike will be remembered for his life-long love of photography, computers, technology, his beloved cats, and how he enjoyed the quiet and simpler things in life.  He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.

Mike is lovingly survived by his siblings: Steve (Terry) Rozek, and Anne (John) Krenke; nieces and nephews: Joe (Melinda) Rozek, Julie Phillips, Jana (Dan) Hamlin, Sheila (Keith) Kronbeck, and Todd (Michelle) Krenke; 9 great-nieces/nephews; as well as other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

A gathering will be held from 3 PM until 6 PM on Friday, March 13, 2020, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home’s new location at 376 East Sarnia Street in Winona.  Mike will be laid to rest in a family ceremony at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

It is respectfully requested that memorials be directed to the Winona Humane Society.
