Mary Jane Hufman

Mary Jane Hufman, age 87, of Winona, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare in Winona.

She was born on January 5, 1931, in Winona, to Clarence and Gertrude (Kierlin) Hufman, and was a life-long resident of Winona.

Mary Jane was employed with the Developmental Achievement Center in Winona, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.  She enjoyed knitting and embroidery, as well as doing search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.  She will be remembered as a kind and loving individual who accepted what she had been given, and who always shared her happiness with others.

Mary Jane is lovingly survived by several cousins, as well as her Home and Community Options family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and three siblings.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12:30 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Winona.  The Reverend James Berning will officiate.  Mary Jane will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be held in the Commons of St. Mary’s Church on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 11:30 AM until the time of the Mass.
