Mary Kobus

Mary Ann Kobus, age 77, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday January 29, 2020, at her home.

Born on January 31, 1942, in Winona to Irene Kobus, Mary worked at the Developmental Achievement Center for many years prior to her retirement.  She resided with Home and Community Options since 1981.

Mary was very social and enjoyed visiting with others in the community.  She will be remembered for her love of crafts and holidays, and dressing up her dolls and stuffed animals.  Mary took great pride in her appearance and enjoyed getting her hair dyed and styled both at home and in the community.  She had a unique sense of humor and a playful character.

Mary was preceded in death by her mother, Irene Kobus.  Mary will be greatly missed by her housemates and extended Home and Community Options Family.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM until the funeral service at 5 PM on Friday, February 7, 2020, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.  Deacon Justin Green will officiate.  Mary will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
