Martha J. Konesko

Martha J. Konesko, age 68, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Lake Winona Manor.

She was born on August 5, 1956, in Winona, to Alvin and Dorothy (Hassinger) Malotke, and graduated from the secretarial program of the Winona Vo-Tech.

Martha was employed for many years at the Winona Knitting Mills, and later with Miller Felpax and LHI Logistics South in La Crosse until her retirement.

She attended Pleasant Valley Church in Winona, and will be remembered for her enjoyment of playing solitaire on her computer, and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings.

Martha is survived by her children: Joseph Konesko and Aaron Konesko; grandchildren: Damien and Xavier; sister: Mary Rose; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Mark Malotke.

Visitation will be held at Pleasant Valley Church in Winona on Monday, June 2, 2025, from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Pastor Sammy Gondola will officiate. Martha will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
