Marie E. Eichman, age 99, of Trempealeau, WI, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Marinuka Manor in Galesville, WI.
She was born on October 7, 1921, in Pine Creek, WI, to Frank and Mary (Kline) Toshner. Marie was united in marriage with Ralph Eichman on June 15, 1949, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, WI, and he preceded her in death on September 29, 1991.
Marie was a member of St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Trempealeau, where she was active with their various women’s groups.
She will be remembered as a dedicated homemaker who was an excellent cook, and she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and entertaining on the pontoon. Marie’s family was very important to her, and she especially cherished the time that she spent with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
Marie is lovingly survived by her children: Mitchell (Cindy) Eichman, Anthony (Nancy) Eichman, and Gloria (Thaddeus) Kotlarz; grandchildren: Stephanie Eichman, Emily Eichman, Malory Eichman, and Jenna (Jonathan) Foss; great-grandchildren: James, Jordan, Alexis, Selah, Josiah, Aaliyah, and Ezra; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a grandson, Collin Kotlarz; three brothers, and five sisters.
Visitation will be held from 4 PM until a service of remembrance at 7 PM on Sunday, June 20, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia Street, Winona. Visitation will also be held from 10 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM on Monday, June 21, 2021, at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Trempealeau, WI. The Reverend Antony Joseph will officiate. A luncheon will be served in the Parish Hall of St. Bartholomew’s immediately following the Mass. Marie will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Pine Creek, WI.
Pallbearers will be Marie’s grandchildren.
It is respectfully requested that memorials be directed to St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church in Trempealeau; Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, WI; or to Marinuka Manor in Galesville, WI.
