Lorraine B. Beck

Lorraine B. Wisner-Beck passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at Sauer Healthcare in Winona, MN, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Lorraine was born on December 24, 1929, in Knapp, WI, to George and Ethel Wisner. Lorraine was united in marriage with Curtis Vandermoon, and he preceded her in death on February 22, 1993.  She later married John Darby Beck on June 25, 1996, and he preceded her in death in 2008.

Lorraine was employed at Lake Center Switch in Winona for many years.

Survivors include her sons: Steven (Charlotte Howard) Vandermoon,  and Dennis (Cassie Roman) Vandermoon; grandsons: Kyle and Blake Vandermoon; granddaughters: Missy Albrecht and Hope Sutton; great-grandsons: Justin Grotjahn and Robert Vandermoon; great-granddaughter: Cassidy Albrecht;  great-great-grandson: Abel Grotjahn; step-children: Patrick (Linda) Beck, Rebecca (Daniel) Conrad, and Louise (Jerry) Correa; three step-granddaughters; two step-grandsons; as well as other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 9 AM until the funeral service at 10:30 AM.  Deacon Justin Green will officiate.  A luncheon and reception will be held at the funeral home following the service.  Lorraine will be laid to rest in a private family graveside service.
