Lois I. Davis

Lois "Kitty" Irene Davis passed away tragically on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the age of 72.

Lois was born on October 27, 1952, to Walter and Edith (Fitch) Davis in La Crosse, WI. She grew up in the countryside of Pickwick, MN, with her siblings Wilber, Sharon (Korb), George, and Joey. She attended school at Winona Senior High School and worked for Winona Health. She devoted her whole life to taking care of others, no matter who they were. One such person she was deeply connected to was Karl Thomas Mikrut. She was not only his caregiver, but a companion until his passing in 2015. They are to be buried next to each other. Reunited in death.

Lois was always proud of her hometown of Pickwick, MN, and encouraged relatives to care more about their heritage and where they came from. She was deeply devoted to her local church and is to be buried in the countryside of Pickwick.

She is survived by her brothers Wilber (of Pickwick) and Joey (of Fountain City), her brother-in-law David Korb (of Fountain City) and her sister-in-law Billie Jo Wicka Davis (of Fountain City), her numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother (Edith), her father (Walter), her infant niece (Mallory), her brother (George), and her sister (Sharon).

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 6 PM until 8 PM.
