Lois A. (Shaw) Buswell

Lois A. (Shaw) Buswell, age 76, of La Crosse, formerly Winona, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at the Gundersen Health System Hospital in La Crosse.

She was born on August 21, 1947, in Minnesota City, MN, and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School.

Lois was employed for many years as a waitress at the Hot Fish Shop in Winona, as an operator for Sprint, and she also worked with the disabled through Goodwill.

She will be remembered for her love of flower gardening, shopping at Trader Joe’s, and she was an excellent cook who made so many good meals. Lois’ greatest joy in life was her family, and she was a loving and devoted grandmother to her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.

Lois is survived by her children: Chad Buswell, Adam (Crystal) Buswell, and Trevor (Jess Sonnek) Buswell; grandchildren: Emily, Aaron, Kristen, Lisa, Juliette, Dylan, Dominic, Alexia, Dustin, Austin, and Max; a great-granddaughter, Melanie; siblings: Wayne Shaw, Eileen (Bob) Higbie, Sharon (Dave) Moracco, and Marilyn Shaw; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee Buswell.

Honoring her wishes, there will not be any funeral services held.
