Leonard "Lenny" Dale Larson

Sunrise: May 13, 1986, in Ridgeway, MN, to Leonard and Kathy (Smith) Larson – Lenny was brought into the world in the backend of a red Pontiac station wagon by the town’s plumber, the late Dale Schossow, and a family friend, Sharon Spalding.

Sunset: July 17, 2022, at Mayo Health System in La Crosse, where he lost his long battle with alcohol and drug addiction.

Lenny worked for his dad at the Ridgeway garage, did farming and was a handyman for Bill and Dan Howes, and he did many side jobs and was always willing to help out in any way he could.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Vernon and Helen Larson; maternal grandparents: Mildred Smith, and Harold and Ruth Smith; uncle and aunt: Gary and Sharon Smith; uncle: David Larson; along with other great-uncles and great-aunts; his extra grandpa: Garold Stinson; and his Godfather: Dale Schossow.

Lenny is survived by his parents: Leonard and Kathleen Larson; his siblings: David (Heidi) Larson, James (Peggy) Larson, Phillip Larson, and Kandice (Michael Durrah) Larson; his nieces: Miranda (Kevin) Miller, Abigail (Andrew Weinrich) Larson, and Emma Larson; his nephews: Gavin Larson and Brandon Wehling; and his great-niece: Lydia Miller

Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ridgeway, MN.  Pastor Jason Threlkeld will officiate.  Lenny will be laid to rest in a family ceremony at Bush Cemetery in Ridgeway.
