Keith M. Redig

Keith M. Redig, age 85, of Winona, MN, passed away on August 24, 2025, at Lake Winona Manor.

Keith was born on July 4, 1940, in La Crosse, WI, to Seymour and Magdalena (Leyendecker) Redig, and was a graduate of Winona Senior High School in 1959. Keith was united in marriage with Betty Welter on April 15, 1961, and they had a wonderful life together for over 64 years.

Keith was employed with the Trane Company of La Crosse for over 30 years.

He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting, and archery. Keith and Betty traveled together often, and they loved to visit family. They would also spend time snowmobiling, playing golf, boating, and watching the birds, deer, and other wildlife in their yard. And yes, he loved to mow his lawn. He will be remembered for his quick wit and humor, strong work ethic, and love of family.

Keith is survived by his wife, Betty; son, Kevin (Terri) Redig and daughter, Vicky (Mike) Petersen; grandchildren: David Redig, Jessi (Dave) Muras, Jamie (McKay) Griffin, Keagen Petersen and Elle Petersen; great-grandchildren: Connor, Landon, Gavin, and Kinsley Muras and Peyton Griffin; brother, James (Margaret) Redig; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and lifelong friend, Dean Blumentritt.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Redig; sister, Phyllis McNally; brothers-in-law: Leo Liebsch, Bob McNally, Larry Welter, and Ray Welter; and sister-in-law, Florence Redig.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Deacon Justin Green will officiate.

Keith will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Dakota, MN.
