KAYA LORRAINE CYERT

Kaya Lorraine Cyert was born in Winona on November 12, 2000.  She left us far too soon on November 15, 2017.  She is survived by her parents, Matt and Andrea, and her siblings Cassidy, Julia and Virginia and numerous extended family members.

Kaya was a senior at Winona Senior High School.  She would have graduated this spring.  Her favorite classes were art and programming.  Kaya enjoyed working at the Winona 7 theater.

Kaya liked the simple things.  A perfect Saturday was a day spent in footie pajamas reading, watching movies, and eating popcorn, chocolate and ice cream.  She loved to read. She was a great artist in any medium.  Kaya loved her cats.  She had a cat shirt for every day of the week and then some.  She enjoyed music. She loved everyone and believed that everyone should be loved equally.  Kaya did so much for everyone else and never asked for anyone to do anything for her.  We so wish that she had.  She will be forever missed by her family and friends, but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the service at 1 PM on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.  Following the service, a lunch will be held at the American Legion Club, 302 East Sarnia in Winona.
