Kathy Rolbiecki

Kathy (Burbach) Rolbiecki passed away after a long and courageous battle with Alzhiemer’s on June 7, 2024, surrounded by her family at the age of 80. She battled this illness with amazing grace and humor.

She will be cherished in the memories of all who knew her.  She had a crazy quirky sense of humor, a quick wit, and she enjoyed life and laughter. She enjoyed caring for her family, cooking and baking, and would never visit without goodies.  She spent her life traveling and lived in Iowa, Missouri, Minnesota, Italy, Texas, South Dakota and Wisconsin before returning to her true home in Winona.   

Kathy was the youngest daughter of Cletus and Agnes (Welch) Burbach of Winona MN. She joins her parents in heaven along with her siblings Clete, John, and Mary (Brown). She is survived by her beloved sister Patty Steinhoff, brother Patrick Burbach, lots of nieces and nephews and some amazing friends.

Kathy was preceded into God’s grace by her husband of 59 years, Jerry Rolbiecki. She has two children, Jodi Jones and Joye Eichten.  Kathy has four grandchildren, Alex Eichten, Ben Eichten, Nell Eichten, and Cameron Hunter.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 10 AM until a memorial service at 11 AM at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia St., Winona MN. Kathy will be placed with Jerry at St. Mary’s Cemetery in a private ceremony.
