Kathryn A. Wnuk Todd

Kathryn (Mettille) Wnuk Todd, of Winona, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024.

Kathryn Ann “Kathy” was born on April 12, 1953, in Winona to Charles and Anita Mettille. She lived her whole life close to the Mississippi River. She loved the peacefulness of the water and her river friends were friends for life. She loved sharing recipes, baking, cooking and giving advice when asked. Her family was very important to her and she relished game nights and holidays with everyone.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, especially by motorcycle. Kathryn always had stories to tell, adventures to relive and memories to share. Reading was important to her as was her love of gardening and yard work. Her Fourth of July parties were the highlight of the year.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her loving husbands, David Wnuk and Richard Todd; her grandsons, Justin and Ethan Wnuk; parents, Charles and Anita Mettille; and brother, Michael Mettille. She is survived by Michael Wnuk, Tracy (Brian) Knopick, their daughters Makena and Makayla, Lori (Dan) Anderson and Rick (Carol) Todd. She is also survived by her siblings, Laura (Thomas) Dreas, Linda (Michael) Spiten, Frank Mettille, Julie Steberg, Nancy Mettille (Karl) Hedin, Connie Mettille (Thomas) Sawyer, and many nieces and nephews.

Kathryn will be remembered for her hard work ethic, her love for a good time and her strong friendships.

Per her wishes a celebration of life will be held at the Eagles’s Club of Winona on Friday, May 3, from 3-7 p.m.
