Joseph Weideman

Joseph A. Weideman, age 77, of Pickwick, MN, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018, in the comfort of his home.

He was born on February 16, 1940, in Winona, to John and Mabel (Norton) Weideman, and was united in marriage with Rosella McDermott on July 20, 1964.

Joe will be remembered for his love of fishing, his miniature ponies, gardening, and he enjoyed hunting for a good bargain.  He was proud to be an employee of Peerless Chain Company for 40 years.

Joe is survived by his wife, Rosella; children: Lori (Randall) Anderson and Linda (Brian) Ressie; grandchildren: La Channa (friend, Tony La Mont) Ressie, and Ashley (James) Martin; great-grandchildren: Dustin Schermerhorn and Hailynd Ressie; brother: John (Arlene) Weideman; as well as other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home.  The Reverend Richard A. Moore will officiate.   Following the service, a luncheon will be held in the fellowship hall of St. Martin’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Winona.

A private family burial will be held in the spring.
