Janet K. Hanson

Janet K. Hanson, age 84, of Winona, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Gundersen-St. Elizabeth's Care Center in Wabasha, MN.

She was born on July 11, 1940, in Oshawa Township, Nicollet County, MN, to Clive and Elizabeth (Casley) Betzing. 

Janet was employed with various companies throughout her career, including Winona Knitting Mills and Benchmark Electronics.

She was a member of the Odd Fellows Humboldt Lodge #24 of Winona since 1969, and will be remembered for her enjoyment of collecting teddy bears and reading.

Janet is survived by her son, Robert Hanson; granddaughter, Melissa; great-granddaughter, Nora; sisters, Elizabeth Sams and Orma-Jeanie Ford; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brothers, William and Steven.

Graveside services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery in Winona – please meet at the cemetery gate by 12:55 PM.
