Eric Flemming

Eric A. Flemming, age 45, of Rochester, MN, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018, in Rochester.

He was born on June 22, 1972, in La Crosse, WI, to Steven and Jane (Lipinski) Flemming, and graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1990.  Following high school, Eric enlisted with the United States Marine Corps, and after Boot Camp, he joined the Marine Corps Reserves.

Eric was employed as a journeyman plumber and worked with his father, and also for Boomer’s Plumbing in Winona and Superior Plumbing in Rochester.

He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his generosity, and loyalty to his friends.  He enjoyed fishing, drawing, and playing cards, especially Cribbage.

Eric is survived by his children: Cedric, Piper, and Kaeleigh Flemming; mother: Jane Flemming; sister: Leigh Flemming; nephew: Cole Styba; aunt: Rose Lipinski; as well as other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, and an aunt, Jeremy Zeller.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the Mass of Christian Burial at noon on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.  The Reverend Monsignor Thomas J. Hargesheimer will officiate.

The family respectfully asks that memorials be directed to the Salvation Army.
