Elizabeth "Betty" Pawlowski

Elizabeth L. “Betty” Pawlowski, age 90, of Winona, passed away on Friday, July 10, 2020, at St. Anne Extended Healthcare.

She was born on September 10, 1929, in Colby, WI, to William and Angeline (Martin) Block.  Betty was united in marriage with James L. Pawlowski on May 6, 1950, and he preceded her in death on October 15, 1999.

Betty was employed by Lake Center Industries until her retirement, and she was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

She will be remembered as an excellent cook, and for her enjoyment of crocheting and gardening.  She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Betty is survived by her sons: Wayne (Diane) Franke, Gary (Mary) Franke, George Pawlowski, Randy Pawlowski, and James (Linda) Pawlowski; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and four brothers: Syl, Ken, Roger, and Joe.

Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home’s new location at 376 East Sarnia Street in Winona.  The Very Reverend Mark C. McNea will officiate.  Betty will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

For those attending, the wearing of a mask will be required, as well as following CDC and social distancing guidelines.
