Elizabeth "Betti" Grossell

Elizabeth “Betti” Grossell, 66, of Winona, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Winona Health Hospital.

She was born December 2, 1956, at Winona Health Hospital to Richard and Mavis (Paulson) Wrycza.

Betti loved painting ceramics and spending time with her family. Birthdays and holidays were very important to her. Betti was a loving dedicated wife to Nathan Grossell Jr, they got married on February 8, 2019. She was the most caring, accepting, nonjudgmental person who was very well liked. Her family was very important to her. She took pride in all her kids, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.  Betti was preceded in death by her father and mother; son, Trinity “TJ” Presson; and sister, Sandy Schewe.

Betti is survived by her husband Nathan Grossell; sister, Connie (Jamie) Skroch; children: Machelle Benson and Jeremy (Tina) Presson; grandchildren: Austin Presson, Stormy Presson, Alysa (Josh) Stone, Brianna (Julius) Jones, George Weege, Cierra Benson, Carter Benson, and Danjerr Presson; along with many great grandchildren, step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

Family services will be held.  Betti will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
