Delight Fenner Rolfing

Delight Fenner Rolfing, age 88, of Winona, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021, at Benedictine - St Anne in Winona.

She was born November 22, 1932, to Gordon and Lucille Fenner.  Growing up in the Winona area, she graduated from Winona Senior High School.  She then graduated as an LPN from Winona General Hospital.

She married Frank Rolfing.  They lived in Golden Valley, MN for 13 years, and then they purchased a farm near Lewiston, MN, where they raised their four children.

Dee was proud to live in the country, and also of her varied nursing career, which ended with almost 40 years part time at Sauer Memorial Home; retiring at age 70.

Family, friends, sewing, gardening playing games, doing carpentry work in her home, Bible study, and dancing were the things she enjoyed most.

Frank died in 1984.  Years later she married Adrian Sabotta.

She is preceded in death by her husbands:  Frank Rolfing and Adrian Sabotta; son:  Larry Rolfing; parents: Gordon and Lucille Fenner; an infant sister; sister:  Dorathy Rusert; and brother: David Fenner.

Survivors are her daughters: Linda (Mike) Quam and Cindy (Joe Crest) Rolfing; son: Everett (Pat) Rolfing; grandchildren: Angela, Kyle, Troy, Brigett, Naomi, Jennifer, and Heather; 16 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Christopherson.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 PM until the funeral service at 2 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 East Sarnia Street, Winona.  Burial will be in the Warren Cemetery, rural Lewiston, MN.
