Carol (Wallow) Wood

Carol J. (Wallow) Wood, age 59, of Lewiston/Winona, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at the Mayo Clinic Hospital – Methodist Campus in Rochester, MN.

She was born on December 18, 1963, in Arcadia, WI, and was the daughter of Vern and Oral “Sue” (Schwartz) Wallow.

Carol will be remembered for her love of ducks, doing diamond art, and being the neighborhood “mom.”  She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.

Carol is survived by her daughters: Jana Wallow and Dana Wallow; grandchildren: Amari Wallow, Desmond Wallow, Tramyrah Banitt, and Amaya Stevens; her brother, Roger Wallow; as well as other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant granddaughter, Melica Wallow.

A time of remembrance will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., Winona, on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 2 PM until 3 PM. A private burial will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery.
