Carol A. King

Carol A. King, age 88, of Winona, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at the St. Charles Senior Living in St. Charles, MN.

She was born on December 25, 1935, in Winona, MN, to Aloysius and Frances (Rostanka) King, and was a graduate of Cathedral High School.

Carol was an active member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart where she enjoyed attending Daily Mass, and served as a sacristan, lector, and worked in the parish office.

Carol is survived by her sister, Gloria Van Deinse, Winona, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings: Kathryn Richardson, Mary Swails, John King, and Richard King.

Graveside services will be held at noon on Friday, October 4, 2024, at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Winona. The Very Reverend Mark C. McNea will officiate. Those wishing to attend, please meet at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia St., by 11:45 AM for a procession to the cemetery.
