Bill J. Coleman

Bill J. Coleman, age 60, of Minnesota City, MN, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the Emplify Health Hospital in La Crosse after a brief battle with cancer.

Born on October 5, 1965, in Fort Benning, Georgia, Bill was the son of Hollie and Erna (Knie) Coleman. He graduated from Winona Senior High School, and married Tina Kaminer on July 2, 2011, in Winona, beginning a life shared in love and companionship.

Throughout his career, Bill was employed with several local businesses, including the Knitting Mills, Riverside Electronics, and most recently WinCraft/Fanatics in Winona. Outside of work, Bill found joy and peace in the outdoors, where he enjoyed bicycling, hiking, and traveling. His affection for animals was well known, particularly his love of bird watching and for his beloved dogs. He loved visiting with family and friends on the phone, was an avid Star Wars fan, and throughout his life he was always thoughtful, meticulous, and detail-oriented.

He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him the most.

Bill is lovingly remembered by his wife, Tina; his daughter, Cassandra (Dustin) Kutchara; his son, Stephen (Micayla) Sommer; grandchildren: Sommer, Noah, and Riley Kutchara; and his beloved grandpup, Drake. He is also survived by his siblings: Leann (Bill) McCoy, Brian (Brenda) Coleman, Lori (Karl) Susmann, Pam (Dennis) Benson, and Barry (Peggy) Coleman; sisters-in-law Vicki Krage and Eve Kaminer; along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who treasured him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollie and Erna; his in-laws, Richard and Bonnie Kaminer; a sister-in-law, Karena Kaminer; and his beloved dogs, Shadow, Jack, and Foxy.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home, 376 E. Sarnia Street, Winona, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the ICU staff at Emplify Health for the compassionate care and support given to Bill and to our entire family.
