Beverly A. Frank, 85, of Winona, was called to her eternal home on July 20, 2021, surrounded by the love of her family.
Bev was born on February 16, 1936, to Clarence and Ann (Malenke) Benter, and was a graduate of Winona High School. On September 22, 1956, she married Robert A. Frank at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Wilson, MN.
She was employed by Hal Leonard Publishing, retiring after 25 years. After retirement, she enjoyed making Christmas wreaths for many years at a local business. She was a member of St. Matthew’s Ev. Lutheran Church.
Bev was an avid gardener and a lifelong member of the Winona Flower and Garden Club, winning many awards for her creative arrangements. She enjoyed needlework, playing bingo and having fun with her Red Hat Society friends. Bev decorated a beautiful Christmas tree and was happiest when her family gathered around her dinner table.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, three daughters; Carrie (Steven) Schuppenhauer, Marla Dienger, Ellen (Basel) Judeh, six grandchildren; Sarah (David) Durch, Kyle Schuppenhauer, Megan Dienger, Adam Judeh, Claire Judeh, Emalee Judeh, one great-grandchild; Greta Durch, and a brother, Ronald Benter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Roger, and a son-in-law, David Dienger.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the funeral service at noon on Monday, July 26, 2021, at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 766 West Wabasha St., Winona. The Reverend Winfried Schroeder will officiate. Bev will be laid to rest at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in Wilson.
Pallbearers are her six grandchildren.
The family thanks Pastor Schroeder for the many kind visits and heartfelt devotions, and to Whitewater Health Services and Seasons Hospice for their care during the final month of Bev’s life.
