Ann M. Stueve

Ann M. Stueve, age 86, of Winona, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Sauer Health Care in Winona.

She was born on February 18, 1939, in Winona, to Nicholas and Esther (Przybylski) Palmer, and graduated from Cotter High School in 1957.

Ann was united in marriage with James E. Stueve on April 19, 1959, in Peoria, IL, and he preceded her in death on January 11, 2025.

She was employed for many years with Watlow, and later with The Optical Shop in Winona prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Kostka.

Ann will be remembered for her enjoyment of collecting and making jewelry, going on bus trips and to the casino, and watching her favorite programs, especially Westerns and Murder She Wrote.

Ann is lovingly survived by her son, Nick (Laurie) Stueve; son-in-law, Jeff Grossell; grandchildren: Kyle Grossell, Matt Grossell, Jonathan (Shannon) Stueve, Scott (Brooke) Stueve, and Michael Stueve; great-grandchildren: Ella, Reece, Laila, Kendall, and Silas; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; children: Richard Stueve and Victoria Grossell; and her parents.

Visitation will be held at the Watkowski-Mulyck Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 11 AM until the funeral service at noon. Deacon Justin Green will officiate. A luncheon and reception will be held at the funeral home following the service.

Ann will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in a private family ceremony.
