Dennis Pellowski

Dennis F. Pellowski, age 79, of Dodge, WI, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in La Crosse.

Dennis was born on April 18, 1942, in Arcadia, WI, to Florian and Emeline (Zabinski) Pellowski.  He was a graduate of the Arcadia High School where he was the Senior Class President and was King of the Prom.

He honorably served his country with United States Navy from 1961 to 1964 and was a member of the American Legion.

Dennis was united in marriage with Bette Brom on August 28, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, WI.

He was a proud employee of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 10, and he was a member of the Dodge Sportsmen Club, the Dodge Volunteer Fire Department, and of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, where he served on various boards and capacities.

An avid outdoorsman, Dennis enjoyed hunting, cutting wood, watching the Packers and the Brewers, and he was the coach of the Dodge Bombers for 25 years.  He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and fun, and how he cherished the time with his family, especially attending the sporting events for his children and grandchildren.  He will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Dennis is lovingly survived  by his wife, Bette; children and grandchildren: Tammy (Gene) Bisek, and their children: Zach and Spencer; Tracy (Scott) Drazkowski, and their children: Maverick and Tatum; and Troy (Missy) Pellowski, and their children: Morgan, Alex, and Taylor; a sister-in-law: Marilyn Breza; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings: George, Sharon, and Darrell.

Visitation will be held from 3 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 6 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek, WI (N20555 County Road G - Dodge, WI 54625).  The Reverend Sebastian Kolodziejczyk will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery, where the American Legion Leon J. Wetzel Post 9 of Winona will provide military honors.

Pallbearers will be Dennis’ grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests that memorials be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pine Creek.
