Leroy was a kind soul who I was fortune to know for the last 15 years. I will miss seeing his big smile everyday. His love of trains and pens will never be forgotten. Leroy will always hold a special place in my heart. Sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Heaven gained another angel. LeRoy Ames, you will be missed by so many! I'm blessed I got to see you Friday evening, you gave my hand a gentle squeeze and a half smile on your face. I will remember all of our years together going to train shows, Family outings with all the Ames, county fairs looking at all of the John Deer tractors which you loved so much. Our walks down Chatfield St. Visiting old East end neighbors on our way to Kwik Trip to get a pop to see Joe, Jeremy, Pojo, Tracy and Jeff. I loved watching you bowl and watching Sunday football together! You had a contagious smile and laugh! RIP friend!
